TAMU-CC Graphic Design Student Internship Program
Student Eligibility:
Graphic Design program students are eligible to complete an internship after completing their Sophomore year.
Students can earn COURSE CREDIT for approved internships.
Paperwork must be submitted for approval no later than 2 weeks prior to semester start.
Individual student internship placements require 10+ hours per week for 14 weeks.
For credit, student will complete:
Portfolio of Works done at appointment
Bi-Weekly Journal
Regular Check-ins with Professor
Employer Evaluation
Students can get credit for up to 2 internships (6 hrs. total)
EMPLOYER Eligibility
Must be a professional place of employment and related to graphic design, advertising, marketing, promotions.
Must fill out required paperwork for appointment approval.
Compensating interns is not required, but encouraged.
Internship Payment Reimbursement
Did you know that your for-profit business could potentially offer the intern a wage of $12.25 per hour with TAMU-CC paying $5.00 of that rate?
